This article covers two things: adding a new TV or streaming device to your Bluu account, and managing the devices that are already linked (viewing the list, removing one, freeing up a slot).
📲 First time on a TV? Scan the QR code.
When you open the Bluu app for the first time on a smart TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, or Google TV, the app shows a QR code and a 6-digit code. Scanning the QR with your phone is the easiest way to sign in — no typing on the remote.
- On your TV, open the Bluu app and choose to sign in. The TV shows a QR code (with a 6-digit code below it as a backup).
- Open the camera on your phone and point it at the QR code on the TV. Tap the link that appears — it opens the Device Management page in your phone's browser, with the activation code already filled in.
- On the Log In page, pick "Bluu" under Regions (not Flow), choose your country, then sign in with your Flow ID.
- Your TV signs in automatically — you're done.
If the QR code doesn't open the page, you can type the 6-digit code manually — see Step 5 below.
Your Bluu subscription lets you sign in to the Bluu app on up to 8 devices — phones, tablets, smart TVs, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, and Google TV. You can stream on up to 2 devices at the same time.
If you've hit the 8-device limit (or you've sold or replaced a device and want to remove it from your account), follow the steps below.
🌐 Step 1 — Open the Device Management page
Open activatetv.discoverflow.co/login in any web browser (on your phone, tablet, or computer).
You'll see a Log In page titled Device Management.
🟢 Step 2 — Pick "Bluu" and your country
On the Log In page:
- Under Regions, click Bluu (not Flow). This is important — signing in under the wrong region will fail.
- Under Countries, open the dropdown and pick your country.
- Enter your Flow ID in the User field and your password in the Password field.
- Complete the Cloudflare CAPTCHA at the bottom of the page — the green check must appear before you can sign in.
- Click LOGIN.
👀 Step 3 — See your linked devices
After you sign in, the Welcome page shows all of your currently linked devices — each one with its model name, the date it was last used, and a DELETE button.
At the top, you'll see a count: "X CONNECTED DEVICES" — this is your current total.
🗑️ Step 4 — Delete a device
Find the device you want to remove from the list and click DELETE on its row. Confirm when prompted. That device is now unlinked and the slot opens up for a new device.
💡 When should you delete a device?
- You sold, traded in, or lost a phone or tablet.
- You no longer use a particular smart TV or streaming stick.
- You've hit the 8-device limit and need room to add a new one.
➕ Step 5 — Add a new device (TV activation code)
To link a new device — especially a smart TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, or Google TV — click the blue + ACTIVATE HERE button on the Welcome page.
You'll be shown an Activation Code screen with six empty boxes.
On your TV, open the Bluu app and choose to sign in. The TV will show a 6-digit code (and usually a QR code that opens this same Device Management page). Enter the 6 digits on this page and click LOGIN. Your TV will sign in automatically.
📷 Tip: Sign in to a smart TV by scanning a QR code
For smart TVs, scanning the QR code is usually the easiest path:
- On your TV, open the Bluu app and start the sign-in flow.
- The TV displays a QR code (and a 6-digit code as a backup).
- Open the camera on your phone and scan the QR code — it will open the Device Management page in your phone's browser, pre-loaded with the activation code.
- On the Log In page, make sure you select
Bluu(not Flow) under Regions, then sign in with your Flow ID. - Your TV signs in automatically.
🚫 What if I'm getting "device limit reached"?
Bluu caps you at 8 linked devices on a single account. If you try to add a 9th, you'll get a device limit error. To fix this:
- Sign in to activatetv.discoverflow.co/login.
- Find an old or unused device in the list.
- Click DELETE to remove it.
- Try adding your new device again.
