Bluu's parental controls let you keep family viewing safe. Set a 4-digit PIN to block specific content ratings, channels, or categories. Setup takes less than a minute.
🔐 What you can do
- Set a 4-digit PIN that must be entered before restricted content plays.
- Restrict by content rating — for example, block everything above PG-13.
- Restrict specific channels or content categories.
📱 Step-by-step setup
- Open the Bluu app.
- Go to Settings (usually a gear icon in the menu).
- Select Parental Controls.
- Create a 4-digit PIN you'll remember. Enter it twice to confirm.
- Choose the content rating level you want to restrict — anything at or above the level you pick will require the PIN.
- Tap Save. From now on, any restricted content will ask for the PIN before playing.
👶 Kids profile view
If your household includes younger children, consider setting the Bluu app to a Kids-only browsing mode. This filters browse and recommendations to just child-safe titles.
💡 Quick tips
- Pick a PIN that's memorable to you but hard for a child to guess. Avoid simple sequences like 1234, 0000, or a birth year.
- Don't share the PIN with kids. If they know it, the restrictions don't do much.
- Forgotten the PIN? Reset it from Settings → Parental Controls → Reset PIN. You may need to sign in again.
🔓 Turning parental controls off
- Open Settings → Parental Controls.
- Enter your PIN.
- Toggle Parental Controls Off or set the restriction level to None.
